Attica Books is run by a family with decades of combined experience as authors and publishers, and with a passion for books in all formats. We’ve been on the other end of this process for quite some time; we’ve had books mangled, over-edited, re-titled, and pitched to completely the wrong audience, and as readers and book-buyers we’ve had our share of frustration too when good books can’t be found anywhere or have been printed with illegible type crammed up against the page margins. We want to make your experience of Attica as pleasurable as possible, and hope you will enjoy our books and come back for more.
Our selection aims to transport you to ‘other worlds, other times’ – whether this is political strife on an ocean planet, Edwardian London or the murky goings-on in a fictional cathedral city. We hope you’ll suggest more books which fit into this theme – we’d be glad to hear from you about anything you think might be suitable, especially if it’s a book you love but can never find in bookshops.
